International Corruption

International Anti-Corruption Academy

Participants will be made familiar with the work of two organisations: the International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA) and the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA). IACA has a unique dual character, as both an international organisation and a post-secondary educational institution which seeks to overcome shortcomings in knowledge and practice in the field of anticorruption and empowers professionals for the challenges of tomorrow. Its constituency comprises 70 UN Member States and 3 international organizations. IIASA is a scientific research institute conducting policy-oriented research into problems of a global nature that are too large or too complex to be solved by a single country or academic discipline. During a special program hosted by IACA, participants will be made familiar with the activities of both organisations in the field of anti-corruption and border research. After a round of presentations, participants will be offered lunch and be transferred to the city centre of Budapest by bus.
